Broadway Juniors is the perfect option for students who want a musical theatre experience without the commitment of a full production—or when our big musicals sell out! Each month, students dive into a different musical, working on a featured scene and song while exploring character development, acting technique, group singing, and choreography.
Leading roles rotate so everyone has a chance to shine and try new challenges. This format keeps the class fresh and exciting while giving each student real performance experience throughout the semester.
In May, students will perform all four scenes in a fun end-of-semester showcase for family and friends.
Ages 7-12 | Mondays 6-6:55pm
Dive into the creative world of acting with SAG-AFTRA actress (and fellow Ashford Park mom) Megan Gallacher Wells!
Watch your child grow in confidence and poise as we learn acting techniques of how to build an authentic character and how to live in that character’s world through scenes from your child’s favorite movies and television shows, commercials, theater, improv, fun games, and so much more! We will build our skills to prepare for a small presentation of scenes and monologues to show off at the end of the semester!
Ages 7-11 | Mondays 5-5:55pm
Sing it. Dance it. Act it. In this all-in-one class, your performer will build the skills to become a true triple threat! Designed for students who want to take their theatre talents to the next level, this class dives into singing, acting, and dancing with energy and excitement. Led by musical theatre extraordinaire, Ms Molly —and featuring guest sessions with industry pros—this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to train like the stars and shine on stage.
Ages 3-5 | Mondays 3-3:45pm**
Step inside the story. In this interactive theatre class, students don’t just perform – they become part of a fully imagined world. Through guided storytelling, puppetry, movement, music, and character play, students explore creative expression while building confidence and collaboration skills. Each class brings new adventures and imaginative scenarios, leading to a final experience where families are invited into the story alongside the performers.

Ages 8-12 | Wednesdays 6-7pm
Scene Investigation: The Vanishing Lead: A lead performer disappears just before opening night… and everyone has a story. In this small group immersive acting class, students step into the role of investigator and performer as they uncover clues, examine motives, and bring the mystery to life through scene work and improvisation. Each week reveals new twists from different character perspectives, building toward a final performance where the full story is uncovered.
Ages 5-8 | Tuesdays 4-4:50pm
The Case of the Missing Spotlight: Step into a story where the audience becomes part of the action in this small group class, capped at seven kids. In this interactive acting class, students work together to solve the mystery of a missing spotlight through character work, improvisation, and storytelling. Each week introduces new clues, scenes, and surprises as students build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills. The semester culminates in a fully staged mystery experience where every performer plays a role in cracking the case.
This Fall, our students take center stage in THREE exciting productions:
Mainstage: Beetlejuice JR. (ages 9+) is a wildly funny and slightly spooky musical that brings the strange and unusual world of the hit Broadway show to life—reimagined for young performers! It is a high-energy, imaginative show that celebrates individuality and creativity.
Shrek: the Musical KIDS (ages 5–8) is a hilarious, high-energy musical adventure that brings a fairytale world turned upside down to life on stage and is a joyful celebration of friendship, confidence, and embracing who you are.
Willy Wonka: Kids (ages 5-10) is a fun, fast-paced musical theatre experience where students sing, dance, and act their way through the whimsical world of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka KIDS. Performers will build confidence and stage skills as they bring this imaginative story to life. *This production will be fully staffed by TSB, rehearsed and performed in our new off-site location at Brookhaven United Methodist Church.
ACT (Advanced Conservatory Training) is a one-of-a-kind musical theatre program in Brookhaven, produced by the Atlanta Institute for Musical Theatre, designed for students who want more than recreational classes.
This is an audition-based program for higher-level training where we combine focused technical training in voice, acting, and dance with a nurturing, high-expectation environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired.

Education: Master’s in Tomfoolery at the University of Beef Wellington in Uzbekistan
Maya Quinones is a professional singer and soap bottler at the Royal College of Sweden. She has been their staff professional since 1931 when the scullery maid discovered her building diminished 7th chords into lavender soap bubbles. During her time there, she has discovered a fondness for weasel training and cheese-curdling, and is endeavoring to acquire her license in both practices in order to move on from her position at the Royal College. While Maya adores singing with all three sets of vocal chords, her hobbies extend to many fields, including tentacle polishing, clogging, and flossing between Christmas tree pine needles.
Adult Musical Theatre Dance Instructor
Stage director and choreographer Ricardo Aponte has directed over 15 musicals and choreographed over 30 musicals, operas, and industrial shows nationwide. Ricardo is originally from Venezuela and resides in Atlanta, GA, where he has become one of the most in-demand creators, recognized with 3 Suzi Awards and ten nominations. Recent work: Director and/or Choreographer- Atlanta Opera (Candide, Cabaret, Revolution of Steve Jobs, Carmen, and Frida), Cinderella (Aurora Theatre), Luisa Fernanda (Florentine Opera), White Christmas (Jennie T. Anderson). He’s also the founder and artistic director of Theatre Platform Project, an educational nonprofit, providing performing arts programs to diverse communities in Atlanta.
Ninja & Tumbling Instructor
With a lifelong passion for movement, Sasha began training in Parkour and Gymnastics at a very young age. This early start sparked a deep understanding of how exciting and at times challenging it can be to learn new skills. That’s why Sasha is dedicated to guiding students through every step of their journey, no matter their age or experience level.
As an APK-certified Parkour instructor and experienced gymnastics coach, Sasha has worked with a wide range of students and personalities. His coaching background includes time at places like American Parkour, Peach Pit Gymnastics and Intown Stars Gymnastics, where he coached both recreational and competitive gymnastics as well as Parkour, helping athletes build confidence, strength, and creativity through movement.
Sasha believes in creating a supportive and empowering environment where students can progress at their own pace. His Motto? “See obstacles as opportunities not limitations!”
Aerial Silks Instructor
Associates’ Degree in Popsicle Stick Castle Construction at Hard Knocks Community College
Asia has been an enthusiastic Silks instructor for TSB for the last few centuries. She first began her exploration in aerial silks when Dolly Parton rappelled down from the Heavens on an eggplant purple silk and blessed her with enough metachlorians to believe in herself to practice the craft. As much as Asia enjoys her work as an aerial silks instructor, her true calling is answered when she moonlights as a ceiling crack detective with her parakeet sidekick Sassy. Elsewise you may find her counting dust specks on clovers and baking gingerbread for needy penguins with stubby flippers.
Piano, Voice, Guitar Instructor
Aralyn (or “C.K.”) has been performing and teaching for several years! She discovered a love for music in early childhood, and quickly jumped into cross-disciplinary education. She now has years of performance and pedagogy experience in the fields of acoustic guitar, piano, and voice (with an emphasis in musical theatre). She is a current Registered Behavior Technician, pursuing certification in the fields of occupational and music therapy. Her passion is in child-led practice, using music as a tool for individual expression!
Guitar & Voice Instructor
Abbey is a singer, dancer, actor, musician and artist from Baltimore, MD. Over the past decade, Abbey has performed in various venues ranging from amphitheaters across the world.. She began her career as a dancer in NYC but over the last decade evolved into a multifaceted artist, business-owner and performer. Over the last five years, she has also been teaching and developing the musicians and performers of the future.
